The JÄLKES research project focuses on the narratives of young people studying in the vocational schools about democracy and participation, and on how, if at all, their participation and views on democracy are visible in Helsingin Sanomat during 2010–2020. The research project finds the traces of the students from the vocational schools and examines whether the traces of the students are/have been available in Helsingin Sanomat.
