Datafication has become a central way to evaluate products and processes in media work. The research group investigates how the datafication of media work affects media workers’ well-being and perceptions of what it means to be a media worker in a data-imbued world. The project has two goals: I) studying how datafication impacts media workers’ well-being through job resources and demands and II) studying how datafication impacts the goals, values, and beliefs that comprise media workers’ professional identities.
