Envisioning artificial intelligence into journalism practice

The proposed multidisciplinary project produces novel and holistic insights into the development and implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) into newswork. The focus is on how AI related processes partake in transforming and reshaping the ethics, norms, and practices of journalism. The empirical focus is on Finnish and Swedish legacy newsrooms and their news professionals and other AI-related actors. The project applies a set of qualitative, mixed methods.
