The project “Journalism, media ja new security challenges: Securitization of the eastern border” examines the securitization of the Finnish eastern border following Russia’s war in Ukraine in the news media and social media platforms. Using qualitative and computational methods, the project identifies security actors and their networks and examines the development of securitization and desecuritization.
