A study of comics in Sanoma company starting from the moment when Helsingin Sanomat published its first newspaper comics in 1927.  The study includes newspaper strips, comic books, comic albums and net comics in Sanoma company. The role of comics for Sanoma’s printing history and for Sanoma’s economy will be enlightened. The study handles also the future of comics in printed and digital media as well as Sanoma’s role in comics syndication.
