The project investigates the experiences of Finnish journalists who have reported on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and Israel’s military operation in Gaza. Through thematic interviews and surveys, the project explores the opportunities and challenges that digitalized information warfare poses for truthful and independent war journalism. It also examines to what extent journalists feel pressure to align with national interests when reporting on international conflict.
